How I made over £100 in 6 months on just 1 survey site!
I feel ashamed that it has been 2 months since my last blog post 🙈 but I am going to endeavour to post a bit more frequently on here to share my wealth with all you fabulous readers and give some product reviews etc.
So I'm going to start with my success with some survey sites as I know some people can be quite sceptical with them and how good they are. As with everything you find that there are a number of different factors to consider so I shall try to go into this for all of the ones that I use. These are;
Right time for me to go and get some milk so I can have a cup of tea! Keep tuned on my Instagram @everydayfreebiesandmore to see any bargains that I pick up as I go and keep your eyes peeled for my other posts on these other survey sites!!

So I'm going to start with my success with some survey sites as I know some people can be quite sceptical with them and how good they are. As with everything you find that there are a number of different factors to consider so I shall try to go into this for all of the ones that I use. These are;
- The look, design and ease of the site/app
- The amount of surveys that you are invited to
- The amount of surveys that you actually get to complete - instead of getting screened out
- The length of the surveys
- The reward you get for each survey completed - or not
- The minimum payout
- The different rewards available - PayPal, gift card, vouchers
- Extra rewards for surveys - product tests
**One thing I must say is always keep your profile at 100% as I feel this has a massive impact on how often you get invited to surveys!!**
My most successful site so far has been Valued Opinions which I would hastily recommend however I don't think that they are accepting new members at the moment. If I ever find a referral link or hear that they have reopened I shall let you know.
The site itself is so easy to use as can be seen in the above image, all of the available surveys are on the left, easily accessible as soon as you log onto the site. You can see how much you have available in your account and easily find the rewards.
Personally I get invited to quite a few surveys but the best thing is to check the website regularly, VO also has an app but I haven't had much success with this and tend to just stick to the website. I also have survey notification emails turned on so I will usually get one or two emails a day saying that a new survey is available for me.
As with every site you're not going to get accepted onto every survey and you will get screened out of a fair few but persistence is key. If I have five surveys available I find that I normally fully complete two or three of them. If you do get screened out it'll be quite soon into the survey after the demographics so you won't take long doing these at all. Most surveys say they last between 15 minutes to half an hour and the reward normally ranges between 25p and £1, occasionally you will get higher ones but these may take longer. I've had some that required me to watch a new tv pilot that was half an hour/45 minutes with some questions but it paid me £3 and the show was really good!
With VO your rewards will add up quite quickly and you can get different rewards quite quickly. The average reward is a £10 gift card, voucher or e-code for £10.50 or a £20 gift card for £20.50. At my best periods it has taken just two weeks to claim a reward and then wait for a couple of weeks for them to arrive in the post.
As of April this year I have had quite a bit of success with them;
£50 x boots vouchers
£20 x sainsbury's vouchers
£20 x tesco gift card
£15 x amazon gift code
I have also had a product test for some insoles which gave me £10 VO credit and a £10 love to shop voucher.
That's a grand total of £115 in 6 months!!!
HOW DID I DO THIS??
So first off I would say don't make doing surveys a chore as you'll get fed up, bored and lose interest in them.
My basic routine is to just do them in my free time or days off - I work 5 days a week and like to spend one of my days off with my partner or friends and then use the other day to do household chores, cleaning, food shopping and surveys.
I could probably have earned a whole lot more had I been making a conscious effort to complete one or two surveys a day but I think I would have got bored of them and given up by now if I had done this.
Like I've previously stated I get email notifications for surveys so when one of these pops up I try to complete it at the next free moment, this might be on my walk to or from work or in the evening with a cup of tea. On my day off I will tend to spend longer on the actual websites and flick through a few different sites - I was going to tell you them all in these post but I'm aware of it becoming an essay so I will list them below and then go into more detail on each site in some further posts!
- Global Test Market
- Opinion Outpost
- Swagbucks
- Gov UK
- Populsive
- Nectar Canvas
- People.io (app)
- One Pulse (app)
- Nicequest (app)
- Enlightly (app)
- Voxpopme (app)
